ANSI / ASME flange series
ANSI / ASME B16.5
ANSI is often used in flange enquiries alongside ASME B16.5. Confirm the exact standard edition and connection dimensions, then select the material, class and facing required by the project.
- Standard reference
- ANSI B16.5 / ASME B16.5; confirm the specified designation and edition.
- Material families — separate options
- Carbon steel; stainless steel; alloy steel. Exact grade and product form TBC.
- Class designations listed
- Class 150 / 300 / 400 / 600 / 900 — alternatives, not working pressure in psi.
- Structure options listed
- Slip-on; weld neck; blind; lap joint; socket weld; threaded.
- Facing options listed
- RF / FF / RTJ — selected type and standard must permit the facing.
- Ordered size and drilling
- TBC — no size-by-size dimensional table is published on this product page.
- Pressure–temperature rating
- TBC for the selected material, standard, size and operating temperature.
Confirm configuration, price, quantity and lead time for each enquiry.
Selection questions
What should I include in a flange enquiry?
Provide standard and edition, size, material specification and grade, type, pressure designation, facing, quantity, and design pressure/temperature. Include a mating drawing when drilling or bore dimensions are critical.
Does the pressure designation equal the working pressure?
No single operating-pressure value follows from PN or Class alone. Confirm the applicable pressure–temperature rating for the selected standard, material and temperature.
Can flanges of the same nominal size be connected directly?
Check the exact standard, bolt-hole count and diameter, bolt circle, bore, facing and gasket arrangement. A matching size label alone does not establish interchangeability.
